Frequently Asked Questions

1). Do you sponsor visa residents?
     We sponsor J1 visa, we do not sponsor H1 Visa. 
2). How long can you be out of medical school?
     We require that you have graduated in the last 5 years. 
3). What is the requirement for clinical training in the United States?
      If you have done medical school outside of the United States, we require at least 3 months of     
      training within the United States. 
4). How many letters of recommendations are required?
     We require at least three (3) letters of recommendations. 
5). When do you interview?
     We interview between Mid November through January
6). How many spots do you have in each class?
     We have spots for 20 residents every years. 
7). Are applications accepted outside of ERAS?
     No. Applications are only accepted through ERAS. 
8). What is your cut-off for USMLE Step 1 Scores?
     We do not look at applications with scores lower than 220. 
9). Are multiple attempts allowed on CS?
     No. You must pass CS on the first attempt. 
10). Do you have away electives or observerships or externships?
     We do offer some away electives, but no observerships or externships.
